Inside a little trailer at the end of Stonewall Avenue in Fairfax City stood Woodrow “Woody” Lashley, 72, retired mechanic, longtime Northern Virginia resident and now, beloved ice cream man. Fast forward 15 years and in Old Town Fairfax, and you’ll find Lashley, serving the same soft-serve ice cream to fans big, small and furry (vanilla only for the pups)...
